When you step through the gates of Le Vieu Couvent in Frayssinet France, you will know you are in a special place.  Your 10 day stay includes private rooms with baths and wonderful French food and wine along with a fully equipped studio.

Your $3,550 fee includes:

• Pick up and return to Toulouse or the train station at Gourdon​
• Daily watercolor and mixed media instructions with Carol and Fran
• Daily excursions to places such as the market at Cahors, Rocamadour and Saint Cirq Lapopie
• All meals and daily apertifs except three lunches and one dinner
• A picnic on the riverbank after visiting a castle
• Non-painters will also find it a great adventure.​

Enjoy ten wonderful and relaxing days at Borgo San Fedele Tuscany, a refurbished 11th-century monastery near Sienna, Italy and visit surrounding villages.

San Fedele – This is the restored monastery where we stayed. We were so well taken care of. Great friends and food.

Spend time painting, exploring, shopping, taking pictures, visiting wineries, open-air markets, and eating gelato!

The cost of $3,850 includes:

• Ten nights lodging in a shared room with a private bath.
• Travel arrangement from the Florence train station to San Fedele.
• Day trips to surrounding villages with a guide escort.
• All breakfast and dinners prepared by a local chef, with wine of course.
• Enjoy watercolor, mixed media, and journaling workshops taught by Fran and Carol.
• Spouses and non-painters are welcomed and receive a discount.
• At the end of your stay, you will be provided with transportation to the train station in Florence where you can make your travel connections.
• If you would like to see more of Italy on your own, we will be happy to make suggestions for additional places to visit before or after your stay at San Fedele.

Fran Mittelstet and I along with a group of artists and friends visited San Fedele in June of 2018. We had such a good time. It looks like many of our original group is returning, so you will want to sign up early!

I was surprised and pleased with what a wonderful experience this was for all of us. Plenty to see, great shopping, fantastic food, and wine. This is just a small sampling of my memories from our 2018 trip. We were flexible—walk as much as you want or sit in a cafe and absorb the ambiance.
